Our Mission

The mission of the CCC is to develop a seamless, family-driven, culturally-competent, strength-based, public-health-oriented service system that will help children and their families fulfill their potential and live healthier, happier, more hopeful lives that are substance free.

According to the latest Poverty in Maine Update, a report issued by the Margaret Chase Smith Center and Maine Community Action Association, over 30% of Washington County children live in poverty.  Click here to read the report.  You can also click here to read a statement of how the proposed 2013 budget cuts will impact many essential services to our communities.
