Training
The Community Caring Collaborative (CCC) is committed to offering best practices services to our community through ongoing training opportunities and the development of training curricula. To date, we have developed the Infant and Family Support Specialist (IFSS) Curriculum for training early intervention specialists who will be accredited by Maine’s Department of Child Behavioral Health which collaborated on the course development. We also offer a prenatal parenting class based on a curriculum developed by Anne Williams and Connie Jenkens. The CCC also designs and offers workshops for area agencies and schools to help them in addressing the needs of the children and families they serve. Consult our Calendar of Events for all classes and trainings.

Trainings can be tailor-made for agencies and schools. The CCC offers over 30 training events annually in Washington County. If you have need for a specific training for your agency, child care center or school, please contact the CCC. We would be happy to discuss your ideas to educate providers in our community.
