MaineCare Listening Session

CCC is helping the Office of MaineCare Services (OMS) host an in-person meeting to listen and learn from MaineCare Members in Washington County.  This will be an opportunity for MaineCare members to share feedback on how MaineCare can improve member engagement and communication.  MaineCare members are currently receiving MaineCare benefits or have received benefits within the past five years.  Service providers are also welcome to support clients who are MaineCare members.  OMS staff will respond to questions and feedback, and provide information about MaineCare programs, services and future updates.  In addition, a representative from the Office for Family Independence will join us to discuss upcoming federal budget reconciliation changes (also called H.R. 1 or OBBB) that affect some MaineCare eligibility rules beginning in October 2026.

Please join us at the new location for the Machias Recovery Support Resource Center at 6 Colonial Way (the old 5 & 10) from 12 Noon — 2 pm.  Refreshments will be provided.  MaineCare participants will also be offered financial assistance to attend this session — see registration form below.  Please submit your registration form no later than October 13th to help us with catering and seating arrangements.
