DESCRIPTION:The Washington County Thriving in Place Initiative presents this FREE 3-hour informational session to seniors\, people with chronic illness and families living in homes that would benefit from repair and weatherization work to cut down on heating costs and safety hazards (download flyer to share).  Join us on September 26th from Noon to 3 pm at the East Machias Community Center (Firehouse) to learn about the repair and weatherization programs offered in Washington County.  Speakers from the USDA Rural Development\, Washington Hancock Community Agency\, Maine Seacoast Mission\, and Thermal Efficiency: Eastport will outline the benefits of each program\, tell you how they work\, and answer your questions.  Find out what program is right for you and start the sign-up/application process after the presentations.  Light refreshment will be served\, so please let us know if you are planning to attend by filling out this simple form below.
