ALICE Summit Registration

Heart of Maine United Way is partnering with the Community Caring Collaborative for a half-day ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) Summit focused on understanding and addressing the challenges facing working families in Washington County. The day will include a presentation of the latest ALICE data, a panel discussion featuring local perspectives, and facilitated table conversations designed to share insights and identify opportunities. Participants will leave with a deeper understanding of the barriers that families and businesses in our community face and a stronger connection to others working on creative and effective solutions.
Presenters will include Matt Donahue, President & CEO of Heart of Maine United Way, and panelists from across the spectrum of business, non-profit, education, and economic development organizations, such as Tawney Desjardins, WIC director for Washington and Hancock Counties, and Denise Cilley, Associate Director for Sunrise County Economic Council.
Please join us at the Edward L Hennessy, Jr, Training Center at 1 Colonial Way, Machias, from 9 am to 12 Noon to learn more and share your thoughts. Emily Fitzsimmons from the French Cellar will provide refreshments. Save your seat by filling in and submitting the form below by June 5th.
