What Brain Science and Toxic Stress Teach us – Registration

The CCC welcomes you to a free, in-person session on Wednesday, June 11th, from 9 am – 12 Noon at Cobscook Institute: What Brain Science and Toxic Stress Teach us about Weathering Rough Roads, presented by Julie Redding, LCPC. This learning opportunity will explore the intersection of stress and decision-making in the face of financial hardships and include a Heart of Maine United Way presentation of the ALICE data (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed).  This data reveals the growing number of families who are unable to afford the basics of housing, child care, food, transportation, health care, and technology.  Designed for Family Futures Downeast partners, staff from all CCC partner organizations are welcome.  Three Contact Hours are available for this training.  Please fill out the form below to register.  You can calendar this event by clicking “add to calendar” below the “submit” button.
