The Family Child Care Association of Maine invites all childcare providers and educators to this year’s conference: Rooted in Resilience~ Real-world approaches to fostering safety, connection, and growth, on September 20th at Washington County Community College from 8:30 am — 3 pm. Please save the date of October 30th for the 2025 Nurture ME Summit (ME#501/450) Working Together: Building Stronger Families and Communities Through Connection and Care, at the Augusta Civic Center. Sunrise Opportunities will be running a complimentary Adult Grief Group from 6 – 7:30 pm Thursday evenings, beginning October 16th, for 6 weeks. Meetings will be held in Machias and facilitated by Sue Maxwell, Pastoral Counselor. This structured group is best for those of you having lost a loved one 6 months ago or longer.
