Washington County Community College is launching a College Access program directed at the Danforth and Cherryfield areas, although it is not a requirement that students are located in the areas. We are hoping to bring college to individuals who may have never thought about going or to people who may have started and stopped. The initial welcome and computer basics sessions will be offered in two locations on separate dates: East Grand Entrepreneurship Center, Danforth and Maine Seacoast Mission, Cherryfield as outlined on these flyers: Cherryfield College Access Partnership; Danforth College Access Partnership. After that, students will all be part of one College Access cohort working hybrid and asynchronously in a highly supported model. Students will also engage with our staff around career development and student advising to promote Fall 2025 enrollment in a college program. Please help us spread the word.
