Winter Solstice Meditation

Beth C. Wright Cancer Resource Center invites cancer patients to a virtual Winter Solstice Mediation.  On December 21, when the world tilts towards darkness, there is an opportunity to embrace a turning inward.  At this pivotal moment on Thursday, December 21, from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm, Adrian Roman leads this virtual meditation to celebrate the winter solstice and prepare us for the darkening days of winter.  In this session meditation practices and dialogue will focus on topics such as stillness, quiet and renewal.  If you do not have access to a computer at home, you may be access this event at the Beth C. Cooking Meals Together:  Nutrition education, cooking, and eating together offer a myriad of benefits for older adults including increased social connection, enhanced nutrition and health, improved appetite, and enriched quality of life. What are we doing around New England to bring older folks together for shared experiences around food?
