Elin provides consultation through the CCC’s Early Childhood Consultation & Outreach program, covering the southern portion of Washington County. In addition to her ECCO work, Elin presents trainings for the CCC and provides clinical supervision and training for the Family Futures Downeast staff. She is also the driving force behind the gardening blog, Seeds & Sprouts and the Downeast Family Garden Project. She recently retired from teaching at the University of Maine at Orono and has over 30 years of experience as a clinical social worker working with children and families in the Bangor and Ellsworth areas in both agencies and private practice. Her areas of interest include expressive therapies, kinship support, families and group work and trauma informed care. Elin earned a Bachelor and Master of Social Work Degree from the University of Maine.
