Building Cultural Competency 2023 – Registration

The CCC invites you to Building Cultural Competency, a free training presented by Elizabeth Neptune of Neptune Advantage on October 20, 2023, from 10 am — 2 pm at Cobscook Institute in Trescott. Designed for Families Future Downeast staff and partners, this training is open to all CCC partner staff. Objectives include:
- understanding the difference between diversity, cultural awareness, & cultural competence, and barriers to working relationships with community members from diverse cultures;
- identifying where you are on the cultural awareness continuum, ways to improve working relationships, and ways to continue a cultural competency journey
Morning refreshments and lunch will be provided. All participants will receive a certificate for 4 contact hours. Please register below for this training by October 13th.
