Cultural Sensitivity Registration — 2025

The CCC invites you to participate in a thought-provoking training session presented by Elizabeth Neptune of Neptune Advantage, focused on Cultural Sensitivity. This session, designed specifically for Family Futures Downeast partners, is open to staff at all member organizations of the Community Caring Collaborative. Training objectives include:
- Understand the distinctions between diversity, cultural awareness, and cultural competence, as well as the barriers that can affect working relationships with community members from diverse backgrounds.
- Reflect on your position within the cultural awareness continuum and explore strategies for enhancing your relationships with diverse community members.
- Identify actionable steps to continue your journey towards greater cultural competence.
This training is in person on September 26th from 10 am — 3 pm at Bear Lodge, situated on the north side of beautiful Long Lake. Get directions. Participants are eligible for 5 contact hours and .5 CEUs.
