Understanding the Impacts of SUD Part 1

In recognition of National Recovery Month, the CCC invites you to Understanding the impacts of substance use disorder: supporting students and families presented by Abby Frutchey, MSW, LADC, CCS. This is a free, 4-hour  virtual training held in two 2-hour sessions on September 24th & 27th from 9–11 am. Designed for partners of Family Futures Downeast, this training is open to any staff member of a CCC partner organization. Training Objectives: understanding bias and its impacts; understanding substance use disorders; impacts of substance use for individuals and family systems; identifying elements in the change process; building resiliency through strengths-based approaches; understanding importance of person-centered language; and expanding knowledge of community resources.  UMM is offering .4 CEUs for participants who complete both sessions.  Register for part 1 (September 24th).  A link to join session 2 will be provided in the chat.
