Kat is the Resource Coordinator for the Family, Friend and Neighbor Downeast program CCC is piloting this year. She brings many years of experience in childcare and child development to this role, along with Pre-K, early childhood education, and services as a doula. She studied child development and special needs at the University of Alaska and has worked with indigenous populations in Alaska and New Zealand. Kat lives in Whitneyville with her dog and two cats.
